Michelle Meech
Michelle attended her first yoga class at 18, discovering benefits that became most profound during life’s challenges.
It wasn’t until she became a mother and experienced extreme burnout that she felt called to train as a yoga teacher. Balancing work and home life had left her depleted, and she yearned for something deeper. As her relationship with herself grew and her worldview shifted, life transformed for the better.
With a background in childhood education, Michelle recognised the need for deeper connection and wellbeing tools for young people. Her passion naturally evolved into bringing yoga and mindfulness to children and teens.
Michelle has completed extensive training in children’s yoga, Ayurveda, coaching, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Reiki. She is also a qualified Yoga Therapist teaching with a trauma-informed lense, integrating evidence-based and holistic approaches to support physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.
Through developing and delivering yoga and mindfulness programs in early learning centres, schools, community classes, and one-on-one work with NDIS clients and community members, Michelle has gained rich hands-on experience with diverse groups. She now loves sharing her knowledge through teacher trainings, equipping others with the tools to help people of all ages discover, heal and thrive.
