Each month we explore new themes, techniques, and perspectives to enrich your personal practice and to refine your teaching skills. These workshops are geared towards those who simply want to deepen their practice, and also towards teachers who want to strengthen their teaching skills. Best of all - these workshops are included in your AYTT Membership.

Bakasana (Crow Pose) for Beginners

Exploring the world of Bakasana (Crow Pose). Let's break down this asana and make it more accessible to the newer practitioner. Explore what arises in the process of slowing down and challenging yourself. A super helpful workshop for teachers who want to refine their skills in teaching this in a way that is inclusive.

Pranayama - The Next Step

This class is for those who have a regular Pranayama practice who are interested in exploring the practice of Kumbhaka (breath retention). We will also practice Kapalabhati. This is also a great workshop for yoga teachers wanting to teach how to teach these practices safely and effectively. This session will be recorded so, so if you cannot make it, you can practice at a time that suits you.

Teachers Circle

Friday 12th 10:30am QLD time (1-2hrs depending on how many people show up)

This session is for teachers who have recently entered the world of teaching, who are sitting on the fence or who are wavering and need some support. Come together to support one another. In this session we will be building ground and exploring getting off the mat to teach. This will not be recorded for privacy reasons.

January  

Inversions Using the Wall

This practice is geared towards complete beginners who want to explore all the benefits of getting upside down. It's also an excellent workshop for yoga teachers who are keen to learn how to support the beginner in the room when it comes to an inversion practice. This session will be recorded so, so if you cannot make it, you can practice at a time that suits you.
